Five Things for a hot Sunday Morning - Issue #613

Last Thursday I woke up and had no brainfog anymore. Just as abruptly as it came, COVID-19 went away. What a weird experience this has been - and I’m very thankful for the four shots of vaccination I had. I’m still trying to figure out how much watching endless videos on Youtube and Facebook contributed to this brainfog - and it really is amazing how many people fry melons, slice steaks, kick a soccerball into a net, jump of something into something or make stupid pranks on other people. And apparently people enjoy watching this.
This Thursday school will start again for our kids and we celebrate that by making a trip up to Legoland in Denmark on Monday, which is about three hours away from Hamburg. I’m not sure who’s more excited about this: our kids or my wife and I? Hopefully they still have those french fries that are shaped like pieces of LEGO!
I’m really curious at what point all those people who voted for Trump because he promised to be different from the political establishment come to realize that different is not always better and that a liar and a crook should never be elected again. The GOP will hopefully implode soon and find a saner path. Haha, who am I kidding? The lunatics will never hand back the GOP to sane conservative people.
