I’m back from my trip to the states and I had a really good time visiting my American family. As the Des Moines Marathon took place this Sunday, I figured that this was a sign and ran 26.2 miles through the city, which was just a wonderful experience and so much better than driving through the city. I finished as the best German of the race and also came in sixth among the 50 year old males. But really the best part was running through lots of parts of town where I hung out when I was in highschool.
Anyhow, I’m back in Germany where fall is as warm as some of the summers at the coast used to be. The war in Ukraine is still raging and Germany is discussing energy prices like never before. Also lots of people realize that not investing into alternative energy a long time ago lead to lots of dependencies on other countries. Maybe some people will finally realize that wind and solar plus EV will make our country more independent.
So I picked out five articles again for you to read. Enjoy!

Big Tech Goes to War
High-Tech Cars Are Killing the Auto Repair Shop
I once fell for the fantasy of uploading ourselves. It's a dangerous myth
Goodbye WFH, hello WFP (that’s working from pub) this winter
